Vitalik shared today, “We need to be okay with sticking hard to our principles and acknowledging the costs of that, and yes, sometimes being the unreasonable man fighting against the ways of the world…. Ethereum doesn't break on you and we should be openly okay with the possibility that that means it is slower.” Couldn’t agree more. "Decentralization" is one of the core principles of the Ethereum ecosystem, and I strongly believe in promoting it wherever possible. Over the weekend, I drafted a proposal that emerged from the #EIPIP meetings held last December and shared it during today’s ACDE call. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1B03r5t03bU&t=180s The proposal introduces ACD-Governance (ACD-G) and includes rebranding the long-standing governance meeting "EIPIP" to "ACD-G". The primary goal is to strengthen decentralization by encouraging broader participation from the EF Protocol Support team, EIP authors, client developers, testing teams, and the community. By bringing their experience together with EIP editors, we can design better governance processes. This would create a dedicated venue for governance discussions where anyone can share input, helping make Ethereum governance more inclusive and decentralized. Personally, I believe it makes sense to bring the right people with relevant experience and perspectives into the same room to make informed decisions. I see EIP editors as essential participants in decision-making related to Ethereum core protocol processes. What do you think? If you agree, it would be helpful to add a comment on the @EthMagicians post 👇 https://ethereum-magicians.org/t/introduce-acd-g-all-core-devs-governance/27387 #Ethereum #Decentralized #Governance(Pooja Ranjan | ranjan.eth)
