In 2024, I’ll start preparing to invest in the Vietnamese market. By 2025, I’ll have completed a bit of the groundwork. By 2026, Vietnam’s stock market, internet, short video platforms, and entertainment industry will all see solid growth. I recently attended a TikTok influencer tour in Ho Chi Minh City, and it was truly mind-blowing. On one hand, Vietnam has a relaxed environment for mobile + internet entertainment. On the other hand, it benefits from the full support of its “game theory” attributes. The earnings of Vietnam’s top influencers aren’t any less than those in China, and this is just the surface level that many people can understand. Going deeper, there’s huge potential in commercial real estate, high-end timber, and government relations. To give a simple example, the X 1.3 that China moved out roughly represents Vietnam’s development opportunity.
