This time, during my travels, I visited a few countries and cities. If we’re just looking at it from a Southeast Asia perspective, I initially thought Thailand might have a breakout moment. But in reality, Thailand feels a bit too mature. Plus, the whole country has a pretty laid-back vibe, with decent social security, and stricter requirements for foreigners. So, I think it’s hard for Thailand to have a breakout moment like Vietnam did. Even in the crypto space, Thailand’s development has been pretty slow. On the other hand, I feel like Malaysia might have potential. But Malaysia’s opportunity isn’t right now—it depends on the government making some adjustments. Policy-wise, Malaysia doesn’t have major issues, but if the government could improve efficiency and be a bit more “fair” in terms of openness, it could create better investment opportunities. Looking at the whole of Asia, even though I don’t really want to admit it, India is indeed a country with a lot of potential. Whether it’s the sheer population size, the widespread love for competition, or even their faith, it all aligns well with crypto. Not to mention India’s “coding” outsourcing—it’s definitely the best choice for grinding out “cat slaves.” It’s just a pity, though.
