Recently, I’ve been checking out stablecoin investment options, but either the quotas are too small, or the returns aren’t appealing. The only one that caught my eye a bit is Binance’s Usd1, but the quota is way too limited. These past two days, I’ve been using BitFi’s bfUSD. Here’s a quick rundown: bfUSD can be directly swapped with USDT / USDC at a 1:1 peg to the dollar. It uses Chainlink for price feeds, not an algorithmic stablecoin, which makes me feel more secure. Unlike regular stablecoins, it comes with built-in yields. I mainly put mine in the Horizon (hbfUSD) low-risk pool. The current annualized return is around 25%–35%, with yields coming from real strategies + BFI subsidies. The goal is near-zero drawdowns, so it’s pretty suitable for just parking funds and earning interest. There’s also the Genesis S0 points event, which is like an extra perk. Holding hbfUSD earns you points daily. Plus, there’s a one-time reward for your first stake of 100 bfUSD. If you hold more, you can stack point bonuses. The points are Pre-TGE and will later be converted into BitFi ecosystem rewards. It’s super easy to operate: mint bfUSD with USDT / USDC, stake it into Horizon, and that’s it. You’ll earn annualized returns + points every day. Finally, stablecoins aren’t just sitting there depreciating anymore. I personally really like this structure.
