When I used to lead newcomers into the industry, the most common reason for a failure was not because I couldn't buy coins, but because of one sentence:
I've already recharged, why is it still so troublesome
You ask a newcomer to complete a 'normal operation', which actually feels like passing a level:
Money coming out of the exchange requires finding a reliable 'bodyguard' to keep it safe
Entering the market requires sufficient funds and liquidity that can be exchanged for capital
At each step, it is important to carefully examine the price, slippage, handling fees, and arrival time (data)
There must also be entrances: wallets, fiat currency channels, trading platforms, custodians, etc. (access)
Occasionally new gameplay is required: automation, risk control, structured, compliant products (innovation)
Last but not least: slow chain, slow confirmation, and exploding with just one card (high-performance rails)
So you see, the market is not just about having coins, it's about whether the system can run smoothly.
This is the Market Infrastructure Grid that @ SeiNetwork is talking about:
It's not just drawing a pie in the sky saying 'our ecosystem is strong', but giving companies/institutions a 'wiring diagram'
You treat Sei as a modern shopping mall, and Grid is the six major system control panel of the mall:
1) Security: Security+Monitoring+Anti theft Door
2) Capital: fund pool+lending+market making+clearing
3) Data: Operational data such as prices, risks, transactions, and reports
4) Access: Entry channel (wallet, custody, trading platform, distribution)
5) Innovation: New business modules (new products, new protocols, new services)
6) High performance rails: Elevators/Escalators/Passes - Don't get stuck with a lot of people, run with a lot of money
Why do companies like this? Because their biggest annoyance is not technology, but 'uncertainty':
After I go live on the blockchain, who will be the safety net? Where will the money come from? How will users enter? How will the data be matched? How will the business expand
Grid is putting these issues on a graph:
You knew how to plug in and connect from the first day, without having to build the entire industry chain from scratch.
Then it will spin on its own
More enterprises → Stronger security system → Deeper funding → Smoother access → More comprehensive data → More new products → Attracting more enterprises.
This is what @ SeiNetwork refers to as enterprise adoption flywheel.
