The criminal group forced the victim to transfer approximately $54,000 worth of Bitcoin within about an hour and also stole a truck, mobile phones, and laptops worth $36,200. By tracking on-chain transaction records, police discovered that the suspects had created shell companies for money laundering. Most of the suspects have prior criminal records and are linked to the construction industry.
