Besides MicroStrategy still buying BTC, the second-in-command Ethereum MicroStrategy, Bitmine, also purchased 102,000 ETH last week. So, Tom Lee isn’t just all talk—he’s actually taking action. However, the amount added has slowed down slightly compared to the 138,000 ETH from the previous week. Currently, the company has accumulated 3.2% of the total ETH supply. According to their roadmap, the company plans to set up its own validator nodes early next year and use the accumulated ETH to generate more ETH as returns. In the end, this company might shift from being an ETH-buying MicroStrategy to becoming a company focused on generating more ETH returns. After all, their goal is to collect 5% of the total ETH supply.
