A cryptocurrency exchange shop in Mong Kok, Hong Kong, faced an attempted robbery; the owner sustained minor injuries but no property loss.
According to Hong Kong media, an attempted robbery occurred at a cryptocurrency exchange shop in Mong Kok, Hong Kong. Authorities are currently tracking the suspects. At around 8 PM last night, police received a report from a security guard about a suspected robbery in the stairwell of the mall at 608 Nathan Road.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the 46-year-old male shop owner, who runs a cryptocurrency exchange shop, was closing up and preparing to leave when two men suddenly demanded he open the door and attempted to rob him. Shortly after, a third suspected accomplice appeared. During the struggle, the shop owner sustained a finger injury and was sent to Kwong Wah Hospital in a conscious state for treatment. Police are currently pursuing the suspects, and the shop owner reported no losses.
