Some projects, man, their mouths run faster than their engines. Whitepapers so hyped they could take off, but when it comes to execution, not even a shadow. Later, I figured out that the teams who actually get things done never overhype the future. They quietly piece together the key modules bit by bit and only show you a small part. You just need to focus on the present: is the code being updated? Are permissions transparent? Can the scaling solutions actually work? Don’t listen to what they *say* (like “the future will definitely be this or that”). The deeper they hide things, the more you can tell if the project is truly solid. Now, I don’t even trust those projects shouting the loudest. Stories that are too polished and smooth feel like pre-written scripts. The projects worth paying attention to are clean on the surface but hide sharp edges in the details. The rest? Leave it to time. Time is way more honest than people.
