Next month brings another potential turning point: the announcement of the next Federal Reserve Chair. Current hawk-dove ranking of candidates: Bowman > Walsh > Waller > Riedl > Hassett. Especially if Hassett gets the nod, it’s a no-brainer to go all in. The nomination might not be announced before the December 9th Fed meeting to avoid directly influencing the decisions of that meeting. Mid-December (after the meeting and before Christmas) will be the golden window for the announcement.
