Actually, when it comes to farming airdrops, it’s not scary if the project team gives out alpha tokens, and it’s not scary if the model shifts from airdrop farming to ICO/IDO. The scariest thing is this kind of situation—on the surface, they’re giving you something, but in reality, they’re keeping most of it for themselves. At least if you put on a show and pretend a little, people can still play ostrich and fool themselves. The most disgusting thing is when they don’t even bother pretending—projects with zero shame. One bad apple spoils the whole bunch. If you’re going to do something so gross, why not just skip releasing it altogether?
