I was rushing out the door when my phone suddenly popped up a notification—my wallet balance was down to less than 100U.
I thought, oh no, time to manually top up again.
But just as I was about to open the exchange, a line of text appeared on the screen: 'Insufficient balance, auto top-up completed.'
I froze for a few seconds before realizing—this was the 'intent task' I set up yesterday on
@wardenprotocol
automatically executing.
Turns out this thing really works on its own.
Using dApps before felt like working a job: you had to write if-then conditions, connect your wallet, switch chains, adjust Gas fees, and even guard against MEV frontrunning.
Even if you just wanted to set up something simple like 'buy automatically when the price drops below X,' you'd have to open a bunch of interfaces.
But now, all I need is one sentence: 'Buy $500 worth of OP when Optimism drops to $1,'
and Warden will automatically handle it for me via the cheapest route, while avoiding Gas fees and frontrunning.
The logic behind it is actually pretty clever:
It’s not AI, nor is it a simple script—it’s an 'intent engine.'
It understands 'what I want to do' and automatically figures out 'how to do it.'
It’s like Siri for the blockchain, except it’s smarter and can even help you make money.
What impressed me the most is that it truly achieves 'seamless cross-chain functionality.'
Assets I have on Ethereum can directly tap into liquidity on Solana, and I can even use protocols on Cosmos to complete arbitrage.
No need to switch wallets, no need to change interfaces.
Later, I dug deeper into the logic behind the WARD token:
It’s not just a governance token—it’s a ticket to the entire ecosystem.
Staking earns rewards, and participating lets you vote to change the rules.
That feeling of 'being part of the system' is way more satisfying than just farming airdrops.
