Pretty disgusting. Now all people care about is who said what, replied to what, liked what, posted what picture, or changed what profile picture—making memes to kiss someone’s ass. Back in 2020/21, at least we had some real innovation like DeFi, YFI staking yield, lending with Aave, on-chain swap innovations, aggregators, cross-chain bridge innovations… The kind of innovation and open, inclusive atmosphere we had in the early bull markets of crypto is gone. Us retail investors used to have that 'my fate is in my own hands' spirit, but now all that’s left is a servile attitude of kissing up to the elites, and then calling it upward socializing.
