Seeing this news, my comment on @GoKiteAI is: Knows how to raise funds (quanqian) Knows how to ride the hype (ceng) Just kidding, but as a project that managed to secure high-profile lead investments from PayPal and CB, and can still capture trending topics, it’s definitely a team that’s getting things done. AI and payment services are still the main focus, no change there. Especially, knowing how to execute is super important. I’ve seen so many projects in Rootdata that raised $20-50M, sticking to one track until it’s completely dead—like, seriously, not pivoting even when the direction is clearly a dead end. They still force it, like the BTC track or abstract AA types. Focusing on the main AI and payment services, while riding the hype, is way more useful than spending one or two years building something nobody cares about.
