Many people in the crypto world are often inexplicably confident, casually saying that the A-share market (大A) is not as good as the crypto market. I used to think the same way because I didn’t understand it. If you understand both the A-share market and the crypto market, and then say the A-share market isn’t as good as crypto, that’s totally fine. But a lot of people don’t understand the A-share market at all and just subconsciously repeat what others say, claiming it’s not as good as crypto. It was okay to say that before, but now, with the crypto market in its current state, still saying it’s better than the A-share market feels a bit unreasonable. Does anyone make money in the A-share market? Of course, there are always people making money, and some make a lot. If you’re not making money, it’s because you haven’t grasped the patterns of the A-share market. Don’t blame the market, and don’t use the Shanghai Composite Index staying at 3000 points as an excuse. The index doesn’t matter. What matters now are the sectors and individual stocks. If you keep staring at the index, you’ll never understand the A-share market. The core sectors and leading stocks in the A-share market change at every stage. In the past, there was the consumer sector with Moutai, the new energy vehicle sector with CATL and BYD, and now the artificial intelligence sector with “Yi Zhong Tian.” I didn’t catch that wave, but I don’t blame the market. I think it’s because my understanding wasn’t good enough, so I went to learn. I really didn’t have the knowledge before and didn’t study it. It wasn’t until last year that I started researching and realized that the A-share market can actually be profitable. Last year, I discovered opportunities in gold ETFs and Zijin Mining, but I didn’t get into domestic AI stocks. I only invested in the STAR 50 Index and AI ETFs because I felt I couldn’t understand individual stocks. For U.S. stocks, I could understand leaders like Nvidia, Broadcom, and Tesla. Through learning and research, I missed out this time, but next time I’ll be able to catch the core sectors and leading stocks. Making money in the A-share market is the best because the biggest advantage is that there’s no risk of deposit and withdrawal issues.
