Tom Lee: The market may be in a 'cautious' state, but it's a great time to buy the dip. Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat and chairman of Ethereum treasury company BitMine, shared his analysis on the X platform about why the current market is in a 'cautious' state. Reasons include last week's major deleveraging in the crypto market, concerns over the 'cockroach crisis' in private credit (recently described by JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, who used 'cockroach' as a metaphor to highlight potential risks in the U.S. credit market. He noted during an earnings call that finding one cockroach often means there are more, and this industry is worth $3 trillion, with weak regulation and insufficient transparency), and the tendency for October to see 'market explosions.' However, Tom Lee pointed out that negative market sentiment often signals contrarian opportunities. With most fund managers underperforming industry benchmarks, they are likely to accelerate their pursuit of returns before year-end. His advice? Buy the dip (BTFD: Buy The F**king Dip).
