Chinese Players' MEME Slang Guide Version 1.0:
Today, a friend in the group told me that many times, even with translation, they can’t understand what we’re talking about—for example, when we keep mentioning a 'plate'
So I casually put together a few common slang terms:
盘子 (Plate) = Project, also refers to a token
角度 (Angle) = The reason to buy into this project, recognizing a specific selling point of the project
土狗 (Dirt Dog) = Shitcoin (tokens issued on chains other than mainstream coins)
金狗 (Gold Dog) = A standout or highly promising token among shitcoins
Examples:
This plate belongs to Tom! (This project is mainly controlled by Tom)
Projects shared by Tom have no angle. (Tokens shared by Tom have no selling points)
This dirt dog is Tom’s plate, not a gold dog, and has no angle! (This project was created and controlled by Tom, it’s not a promising project, and it has no selling points)
Feel free to add more! I’ll continue organizing this later.
