[Bitwise Chief Investment Officer: Still Expects Record-Breaking Inflows into Bitcoin Spot ETFs in Q4] Gold Finance reports that cryptocurrency asset management firm Bitwise predicts U.S. Bitcoin spot ETFs will attract record-breaking inflows in the fourth quarter, with the total for the year likely surpassing the combined amount for 2024. Earlier this year, Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan predicted that Bitcoin ETF inflows in 2025 would exceed the $36 billion scale seen in its debut year. As of now, actual inflows are approximately $22.5 billion, and at this pace, the year-end total is expected to reach $30 billion—slightly below the first-year performance. However, in a client memo on Tuesday, Hougan expressed no concerns, stating that he expects a strong fourth quarter to drive inflows to historic highs. The three key factors driving this event include approvals by wealth management institutions, a surge in Bitcoin prices, and the narrative of "currency devaluation hedging."
