A little personal take: Whoever supports the BRC20 update first will gain the upper hand in controlling wallet access and take the lead in capturing retail user growth. Data: Active addresses and small UTXO at high levels, new wallet numbers rebounding, inscriptions showing multiple small transactions. Theory: Metcalfe's Law (network value grows with the square of user numbers) combined with the S-curve diffusion suggests we’re at the critical point before an explosion.
