Farming airdrops and secondary trading are often at odds with each other. For us secondary traders, big airdrops are usually bearish for the market. Sometimes they drain market liquidity, and big airdrops are rarely good targets for secondary trading. Haven’t you noticed how those once-hyped airdrops have now disappeared into oblivion... Big airdrops are a celebration for airdrop farmers but a disaster for secondary traders. However, the reverse isn’t always true—a disaster for airdrop farmers isn’t necessarily a win for secondary traders. It all depends on whether the project team decides to make a move (pump the price).
