This time, it’s far from just a short squeeze to explain the data—this is entirely what they call active market making, or you could say the big players’ manipulation. They’ve locked onto the upcoming rate cuts, taking advantage of the low volume in the spot market, continuously running a short squeeze contract flywheel, quickly pushing it to the peak, and then slowly offloading when the rate cuts arrive.
