Let’s talk again about 'what it means to truly understand.' Here’s an example: I’m sure you’ve heard that historically, both U.S. stocks and crypto don’t perform well in September. Two reasons are often cited: 1️⃣ Looking back at the charts, September is usually a month of declines or sideways movement. 2️⃣ September often sees quarterly fund rebalancing, which leads to weaker market performance. I’ve seen these two reasons, but I don’t fully get it. It’s not that I don’t understand the literal meaning—it’s that I don’t understand how this necessarily leads to the conclusion: 'September 2025 will also have poor performance.' And even if you’ve drawn that conclusion, what’s your plan of action? From both a knowledge and execution standpoint, there’s no way to derive any concrete, actionable insights. The only vague takeaway is: 'Be a bit more cautious in September.' That’s it.
