《Help Them Out》 A few days ago, Silly Bro was chatting with an uncle who runs market-making in Thailand. The uncle was lamenting how hard it is to be a market maker these days, barely scraping by. The uncle said retail investors are way too savvy now. As soon as you pump the price a little, they sell everything, take their small profits, and leave. No matter how much you draw lines, they’re not coming back. If they miss out, they miss out—retail investors don’t FOMO anymore. They all think the next one will be better. Now you have to support a market-making team, an operations team, and cover all their food, drinks, and *ahem* other indulgences. KOL distribution fees are expensive, and there’s no guarantee of results. Daily expenses are in the tens of thousands—it’s a lot of pressure. Tokens aren’t selling, and it’s so tough. What do you think, should we help them out?
