Sigh. @NickJFuentes please think carefully about what you are doing here. If you succeed in throwing 2028, Gavin probably won’t put you in the gulags. But in the next 4 years, the borders will reopen and eventually the communists will take control of the DNC. Maybe in 2032 or maybe in 2036 but eventually they get there. Then you will be the first one thrown in the gulags. You think the secular communists will tolerate a catholic monarchist demagogue that might challenge them in the future? Me and the other libertarians will be long gone by then. If by some unfortunate turn of events I don’t make it out and get sent to the gulags too, I’ll probably end up being one of the camp guards placed there to monitor the other prisoners. That deplatforming, debanking, and character assassination should have never happened. Having endured such persecution, now you all you see are enemies everywhere. In fact, it’s only the tortured who become torturers as big N once said. So I ask you to forgive those who have transgressed against you as Christ would have. If you keep going down this road, one of two things is likely to happen. 1) you get what you want and the current right makes some compromises with the Groypers or 2) the current right makes some compromises with the moderate left and/or the libertarians which leaves your faction out. Don’t be so sure that 1) will be the outcome. Already you see Elon backing Vance and mending ties. Elon will push for a more centrist and pro tech positioning. And if that bloc still isn’t big enough, they will prefer to compromise with Bannon rather than you since he is slightly less extreme. If you want political influence, you need to undercut Bannon. Right now he is about 15% outside of the Overton window and you are 25% outside. So even if you shift the entire window right, he gets there before you. Lastly, do you really want to back Gavin Bateman? He’s just not smart enough to win and power only comes from winning. You need to wait an extra cycle at the bare minimum for a Trotsky-like figure to emerge to play this gambit. Plus if you keep talking crazy like this, you are going to scare all these demure PhDs at the Fed into cutting rates super aggressively which will evaporate your base.
