What is the difference between the USD bonds issued by various exchanges and normal deposit based wealth management? After Bitget launched the BGUSD bond yield asset certificate in May, Binance also launched the corresponding RWUSD this week. According to the information on the official websites of both companies (links at the bottom), Bitget's yield is currently 5.12%, and Binance's is 4.2%. Many friends actually have doubts about the difference between these BGUSD bond yields and deposit redemption processes. After all, the fundamental difference is that the underlying sources of income are different, one is US bonds and the other is lending income. However, in terms of actual usage, the biggest benefit of normal deposit management is the addition of a "certificate", which is an additional benefit within the corresponding exchange. Firstly, please note that when you deposit USDC into Bitget or Binance, the USDC bond you receive is different from commonly used packaging tokens such as stETH, wBTC, etc. They are only asset certificates and not tradable tokens. They can only be recognized within the corresponding exchange. However, because of this, the USDC bond you hold can achieve a dual-use effect within the exchange. For example, in Bitget, BGUSD can be used as collateral for borrowing coins, contract margin, Launchpool, PoolX, etc. In Binance, RWUSD can be used as collateral for VIP borrowing coins. So to summarize, the underlying sources of income are actually not perceived by users, and users do not need to worry about where the income comes from. Anyway, you can safely give me the promised return rate. The biggest difference for users is that the funds you use to purchase US bonds can not only earn income, but also be used for other things on the exchange, which has a great advantage over normal deposit and wealth management. The detailed pages of the US bond wealth management of the two exchanges are as follows. Interested friends can expand their reading https://www. (binance.com)/zh-CN/earn/rwa-rwusd https://www.
