💷 Move the capital to the Ethereum mainnet After conducting research for two days, I have finally made up my mind to "relocate" Aave's lending positions as a whole to the Ethereum mainnet (previously on Arbitrarum). 🧠 reason: 1. The main network has higher TVL and higher security factor 2. Deposit APY is higher (higher returns) 3. USDC borrowing with lower APY (reduced interest expenses) 4. The main network gas should be kept below 1g, and the gas fee is acceptable 📙 Relocation process: 1. Pledge SOL at Kamino and lend USDC 2. Cross chain to Arbitrum via CCTP (charge 0.01%) 3. USDC repayment, withdrawal of ETH 4. Arbitrarum ETH recharge to bitget 5. Bitget withdrawal to Ethereum mainnet 6. Deposit ETH and lend USDC 7. USDC cross chain to Solana via CCTP (charge 0.01%) 8. Kamino repays USDC and withdraws SOL I'm making it so complicated because I don't want to sell ETH, repay it, lend U, and then buy ETH (with price fluctuations). 💬 A few thoughts: 1. ETH large cross chain, CEX remains the cheapest cross chain bridge (Across shows cross chain fees to be several hundred dollars) 2. The USDC native cross chain bridge experience and price are quite good (through Wormhole) 3. Aave liquidity fragmentation is indeed a pain point (it is said that V4 can solve this problem, look forward to it) 4. The soaring short-term interest rates in Aave are truly alarming (the screenshot shows that the 18% rate has only lasted for a short time and has now fallen by 1.85%) 5. The Ethereum mainnet is finally no longer an unattainable aristocratic chain, with an average transaction fee of 0.35 and greatly improved availability Looking forward to a bright future with over a thousand TPS on the Ethereum mainnet.
