Google CEO Pichai's personal wealth exceeds $1 billion

According to Golden Finance, Google's parent company Alphabet announced on Wednesday that its revenue exceeded expectations, marking the latest milestone in the company's explosive growth since early 2023. During this period, the company's market value increased by over $1 trillion, bringing investors a return of approximately 120%. It also made CEO Sundar Pichai a billionaire. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, as Alphabet's stock price approaches historical highs, the 53 year old Pichai is now worth $1.1 billion. For non founding CEOs, this is a rare achievement, especially in the technology industry where many executives, including Zuckerberg of Meta Platforms (META. O) and Renxun Huang of Nvidia, derive their wealth from their founding stakes in their respective companies. Although Pichai was not present when Google was founded in 1998, he became the longest serving CEO this month, and August of this year will mark his 10th anniversary in office.
