Look at Elizabeth Warren @ewarren FIGHT for the establishment. I thought she was for helping the poor and working classes? The NYSE hasn’t laid many golden eggs for those folks but look how genuinely concerned she is about the NYSE.
When I was interviewed by @SueNBCBoston and @MattPrichardTV after I announced my run for the Senate against @SenWarren, I said that she is Wall Street’s #1 protector. Understandably, Matt & Sue looked puzzled, considering all the rhetoric Warren says related to fighting Wall Street. But look and listen to how concerned she is for the NYSE.
I have news for her, disruption is a good thing.
One, the tokenization of real world assets, including stocks, could help expand asset ownership to the millions of Americans historically excluded by a system and rules set up in the 1930s. Do you think those rules helped minorities or the poor?
Two, Warren is lying, as usual, when he says tokenizing stocks on the blockchain will bypass the SEC or other regulators.
She’s protecting an incumbent system that’s produced an outrageous wealth gap in this country. And make no mistake, the wealth gap is the #1 existential threat to our country today. Period.
