It allows whoever gets elected to have no responsibility AND it allows them to NOT make the tough decisions that MUST be made. When I ran against @ewarren, I switched from being an Independent to being a Republican because we don’t have a viable 3rd party option in this country. For 20 years I’ve said there is no fundamental difference between Republicans and Democrats. When Democrats are in control, EVERY Republican talks about financial responsibility. But when Republicans gain control, they spend taxpayer money like a drunken sailor on liberty for the first time in 6 months after being on a ship at sea. And don’t get me started on the poor. If anyone believes poor people think there’s a big difference between @BarackObama and George W. Bush then they’re delusional. Both bail out banks, car companies, airlines, pharmaceutical companies, etc. But if a local 🍕 shop makes a shitty 🍕 they go out of business. If GM makes a shitty car, the government bails it out. Imagine this: @ewarren and @realDonaldTrump BOTH agree that we should eliminate the debt ceiling altogether. 🤔 Now why do you think that is? 💵 + 🖨️ + forever
