BlockBeats News: On June 28th, the Republican controlled Senate in the United States announced a new version of a $4.2 trillion tax and spending plan, and as the July 4th deadline set by Trump approaches, the voting process is about to begin. It is reported that the new draft reflects the compromise of various factions within the Republican Party. Previously, there were differences within the party regarding the magnitude of cuts to social security programs such as medical subsidies, as well as the speed of gradually phasing out the renewable energy tax credit policy during the Biden administration. The draft includes a temporary agreement reached with Republicans in the House of Representatives to increase the State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction limit from $10000 to $40000, valid for five years, before returning to the original standard. Republicans plan to initiate the voting process for the tax reform bill as early as Saturday noon local time (Sunday early morning Beijing time), and the final vote may be scheduled for Sunday early morning (Monday afternoon Beijing time). The party leader plans to recall members of the House of Representatives early next week in order to complete the legislative process before the Independence Day deadline set by Trump. (Golden Ten)
