US leaders, including #Trump, never seem to think past the moment. We jump into wars with slogans and "good-willed" support but no strategy for the day after. We intervene, destabilize, leave - and then act surprised when the chaos follows us home. That's blowback. It's not theory. It's history. Charlie Wilson said it best: "That ball keeps on bouncing." Chalmers Johnson wrote the book on it - literally. Every time we try to "fix" the world with bombs, we create new enemies, fuel extremism, and make America less safe.
