As a newcomer in the Web3 security field, GoPlus recently launched a GSM solution, but many friends said that after reading the Github introduction, they didn't understand it at all. Today I will give a brief explanation here. You can do it this time 🛡️ GoPlus has launched a GSM solution, which is understood as a "antivirus engine" that integrates transaction risk control into nodes 🛡️。
🌐 Let's talk about what GSM is?
GSM is like a 'security gatekeeper' in blockchain nodes. It is not deployed on wallets, front-end websites, or centralized APIs, but rather a security module directly integrated into blockchain nodes (such as the BNB Chain full node client) to block malicious transactions at the root.
Equivalent to conducting an intelligent health check before DEX transactions, maliciously blocking them directly, and only entering the mempool queue if they are good, and it is completely impossible to bypass.
📝 So how does GSM work?
one ️⃣ Pre intercept
The transaction was blocked by GSM before entering the mempool. For example, phishing contract addresses, blacklist addresses, fake airdrops, etc., are directly thrown into the black hole.
two ️⃣ Sorting analysis (Pre Ending)
Package and analyze transactions in order (such as address+nonce), identify "serial scams" and "combination attacks" (such as re-entry attacks, honeypots, and other complex scripts), not only look at the surface, but also at behavior patterns, and see through 99% of disguises.
🧪 Official measured data: very awesome
-Detection accuracy up to 97% (based on 100 real attack transaction replays)
-Can prevent potential losses exceeding 22 million US dollars (tested in 2024-2025)
-Stable performance: Run for 24 hours under pressure of 1000 TPS (1000 transactions per second) without any lag or crash
-Delay of only<40 milliseconds per transaction: almost imperceptible, fully capable of running on the mainnet
-Open source: Project code and test data are all on GitHub, transparent and trustworthy
What I want to say is that 'safety' is always the key to our participation in DEX activities such as playing memes or airdrops on the blockchain. The GoPlus GSM security combination punch, plug and play, can be integrated not only on nodes, but also on wallets, dApps, Layer 2 sequencers, RPC services, and other places, covering the entire chain ecosystem like a firewall. And the key point is that after this security integration, it is basically impossible to bypass. Unlike Web2 security (browser plugins, APIs), the GSM security module is "native integrated" on the chain, and hackers are basically unable to bypass or block it.
On chain operations are an important part of the Dark Forest, and many people have made mistakes on the chain, including myself. Our team once lost $100000 overnight due to phishing websites and invested in airdrop studios, polluting 5 computers and 100 wallets. Security is the key and primary consideration for all Web3 behaviors. With the popularity of on chain behaviors, I believe that the future public chain war will no longer only focus on speed, but also on the ability of "security built-in". GoPlus is working towards this direction, constantly moving towards the direction of "protocol security layer". Looking forward to it 🧐
