BlockBeats News: On May 14th, according to the White House's executive order on May 12th to modify equivalent tariff rates to reflect negotiations with the People's Republic of China, the US has revoked a total of 91% of tariffs imposed on Chinese goods (including goods from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region) under Executive Orders 14259 and 14266 of April 8th and 9th, 2025, respectively, at 00:01 Eastern Time on May 14th. The equivalent tariff measure of 34% imposed on Chinese goods (including goods from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region) under Executive Order 14257 of April 2nd, 2025 has been modified, with 24% of tariffs suspended for 90 days. Retain the remaining 10% tariff. At the same time, the United States has also lowered or revoked tariffs on small parcels from China (including small parcels from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region), lowered the international mail ad valorem tax rate from 120% to 54%, and revoked the measure originally scheduled to increase the specific volume tax from $100 per parcel to $200 per parcel from June 1, 2025.
