In the previous wave of AI Agent Fomo craze, @ myshell.ai sat on the bench due to being too close to the web2 ecosystem, but now the MCP+A2A protocol standard has become the golden signboard of web3AI, and MyShell's ecological niche has a unique advantage. Well, MyShell quickly completed comprehensive integration with the MCP standard. How should we understand it? Can MyShell achieve cornering overtaking with MCP? 1) MCP (Model Context Protocol) is essentially a protocol standard that allows different AI services and different AI services to communicate seamlessly, just as TCP/IP protocol defined Internet communication rules in those days. Its significance and value lie in the fact that it can change the "island problem" of traditional monolithic models such as Claude and ChatGPT. Assuming that each model has its own API standard and each new tool integration requires a corresponding set of adaptation code, who will adapt to whom? With the emergence of MCP, the Ren and Du meridians that connect large models were opened up. MyShell was originally seen as an application aggregation service platform that fits the mature AI Agents of web2, and integrating MCP can naturally increase the interoperability of AI Agents on the platform to a greater extent. Objectively speaking, integrating MCP is a fundamental prerequisite that every Agent Aggregation Service Platform must possess. But I think the uniqueness of MyShell lies in its MCP service, which is not only applicable to web2 AI agents, but can also be connected to web3 AI agents. In other words, MyShell has become the only AI platform that can simultaneously call GitHub and BNB Chain. In my opinion, the support of MyShell's dual ecosystem is not accidental, but rather due to its strategic layout of following the web2 value application landing+web3 token model from the beginning. 2) Ultimately, MyShell's ability to integrate MCP on a large scale is not solely due to its technical capabilities, but more importantly, it has a profound dual ecological accumulation. On the Web2 side, there are already a large number of mature AI agents running on the MyShell platform: from content creation to image generation, from code assistance to data analysis. More importantly, the design philosophy of these agents has been "componentized" from the beginning - each function can exist as an independent Widget that can be called by other agents at any time. On the Web3 side, MyShell has not only developed a complete on chain protocol framework, but also built a complete closed loop from creation, distribution to monetization: the Widget system implements modular development, the AIpp Store provides distribution channels, and the Token mechanism drives economic cycles. When MCP appeared, MyShell found that it was almost a perfect match with its own Widget system - MCP server is essentially a Widget that can be called across platforms. For example, when a user creates an AI Agent investment assistant, on MyShell, you can directly select the "BNB Chain Data Analysis" Widget, "Technical Indicator Calculation" MCP service, "AI Strategy Generation" module, and "Automated Trading" component, connect them through a visual interface, set the parameters, and create a fully functional investment agent in just a few minutes. 3) The problem is that when most AI platforms either focus on Web2 tool integration or specialize in Web3 native applications, MyShell has chosen a path that requires both ecosystems. This positioning may seem greedy at first glance, but considering the different characteristics of the two ecosystems may change one's perspective. The AI user base of Web2 is large but lacks the ability to access Web3. The native user technology threshold of Web3 is high but the ecosystem is relatively closed. MyShell naturally serves as a bridge connecting two ecosystems by simultaneously supporting MCP services. For example, a designer can use MyShell's Agent to call Figma to generate a design (utilizing the existing Web2 Agent capabilities), and then directly mint it as an NFT on the chain (utilizing the existing Web3 protocol framework). 4) When both web2AI and web3AI are connected, MyShell's ecosystem can naturally be upgraded: it is no longer limited to an AI agent aggregation platform, but has a broader vision - to become an AI native operating system and redefine the AI consumer layer. This operating system framework includes a unified protocol standard (MCP), modular functional components (Widgets), an open application ecosystem (AIpp Store), and a complete economic cycle (creator economy). Just as iOS defined the standards for mobile applications, MyShell attempts to define the standards for AI applications. MyShell's ability to amplify this modular combination clearly aims to seize the standard setting power of the new ecosystem of web2+web3 integration. And no other platform can land as quickly as it, it has enough "ammunition" (already mature agents) to prove the practicality of this standard. 5) As is well known, the biggest weakness of web2AI is the limitation of its business model. With advertising, subscriptions, and API calls, MyShell has completed a technical upgrade through MCP, and its business model naturally needs to integrate with web3's tokenomics for corresponding upgrades. This requires MyShell to expand its creator economic imagination space: on the creator side, creators do not need to develop from scratch, and can quickly innovate and combine existing modular building blocks to complete AI agent encapsulation; On the user side, there can be more options to filter out specialized AI agents, no longer limited to large models that cannot solve specific problems. Users can pay for value rather than simply paying for computing resources. From an investor's perspective, if we support some promising AI agent entrepreneurs in the early stages, we can share the benefits of the entire ecosystem growth through the Token mechanism. above. Looking back, the significance of MyShell integrating MCP, aside from the slogan that everyone can create AI agents, mainly depends on the sustainability of its long-term economic model. But precisely the logic of this type of platform type positive flywheel is that the more agents and creators are connected, the greater the value and comprehensive efficiency released by the platform.
