Wu Shuo learned that Scroll co-founder Ye Zhang posted on X platform, pointing out that taxing L2 is one of the most toxic ideas for Ethereum's future, believing that it will sacrifice long-term scalability and ecological growth in exchange for short-term income, violating the principle of a neutral platform. He pointed out that the true value of ETH lies in becoming the core asset of thousands of rollup ecosystems, rather than relying on protocol fees. At present, ETH has become the dominant asset of L2 such as Base, Arbitrarum, Optimism, zkSync, Scroll, etc., making it more scalable compared to Solana's vertical integration model. Ye Zhang emphasized that more rollups will enhance the trust and use of ETH as a store of value (SoV), and if L2 is taxed, it may lead to L2 turning to alternative DAs (such as Celestia), ultimately weakening Ethereum's competitiveness. He suggested that Ethereum should accelerate technological upgrades (such as expanding blob capacity by 1000 times), enhance DA attractiveness, and support more aligned participants. http://(wublock123.com)/index.php? m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=40344
