According to BlockBeats, on April 1st, the Japanese open-source payment system UPCX announced the discovery of unauthorized activities involving project management accounts. As a preventive measure, immediate action is being taken to ensure platform security.
The deposit and withdrawal functions of UPCX are temporarily suspended. User assets remain secure and unaffected.
Previously, Cyvers Alerts warned that multiple suspicious transactions involving UPCX had been detected. It seems that someone has obtained the address 0x4C 3583E's access privileges were upgraded to the "ProxyAdmin" contract, and the "withdrawByAdmin" function was executed, resulting in the transfer of 18.4 million UPC (approximately $70 million) from three different management accounts.
