In the blink of an eye, ETH has been over ten years, and we are no longer the passionate and fearless young people in our twenties.
Most people have already entered middle age, and in ten years, they may no longer be able to laugh and play so carefree.
Watching V God, it seems like he is about to enter another stage of his life - marriage, family. Perhaps soon, he will also start thinking about his child's future, not just the future on the chain.
God is ultimately human.
As reality gradually fills up time and energy, can we still wholeheartedly embrace it like we did back then?
Back then, we agreed to become the next Satoshi Nakamoto, and now
Over the past decade, some have sought refuge in Solana, some have become addicted to SUI, and some have delved into various forms of L2.
On the surface, it may seem like different technological choices, but in fact, most core members have a dream hidden in their hearts:
Send a coin to become the next UNI, the next OP, or at least get a position as an Eigen advisor.
(It depends on whether the boss and senior officials allow it or not)
The problem with Ethereum cannot be explained in a few words. But you know, I know, and he knows too.
ETH As the coin of faith that I exchanged for participating in the ICO with BTC back then, it still holds an unshakable position in my heart to this day.
However, the reality today is a contradiction and fatigue enveloped by layers of hypocrisy and false neutrality.
I used to think that Ethereum was like an idealistic public welfare group, which is why they were so opposed to ICO and MEME in the early days - because they believed in pure technology and hated speculation.
But like many organizations that use the banner of public welfare, in the end, the essence is still an interest organization.
Interest itself is not wrong, what's ridiculous is shouting 'I don't love money' while calculating gains and losses and dividing resources behind the scenes.
Loving money is not wrong, who doesn't love money?
I just hope that on this road, we can be more honest.
ETH FOREVER。
I have always believed that Ethereum can become better and more open, willing to listen to different voices and embrace more projects.
I also hope that V God can continue to support various builders on Ethereum, not by choosing sides, but by giving every side the possibility to stand up!
