🤔Counter argument: -Token buybacks are a relic from the Operation Chokepoint 2.0 era where projects were too scared of the SEC to return true value to their token holders via revenue/dividends. -Buybacks are an imperfect solution to return value to their holders which does not align token + platform interests. Now that a more crypto-friendly administration is in office, I expect to see more projects pivot to rev share as traders and users turn into project OWNERS.
