Said another way, the main purchasers of ETH will be people that need to use it (ie spend it) or people that are facilitating its use . It’s not an asset I think will *primarily* be bought to hold like BTC . This doesn’t mean ETH is worthless . Quite the contrary ! ETH powers Ethereum the platform and the more Ethereum is adopted , the more people need to buy and spend ETH but the value proposition and value accrual for an asset meant to be spent is completely different from that of an asset you buy to hold . Further , depending on what the main use cases for Ethereum the base layer become , the profile of the stakeholders purchasing ETH are different . ETH will always have value because Ethereum has value , not the other way around .
