Last week, our team identified multiple fraudulent accounts during our sybil investigations. A few hours ago, a breakdown of the methodology was published. Now, I’m sharing our governance proposal. Voting is open for 48 hours. As many of you predicted, the GenDrop will be moderately delayed. 👇For more and why... 123,195 out of 217,351 wallets were flagged as sybils. These are not eligible. Given the magnitude of sybil activity detected and OM value, we believe the community should decide on the future of these 26,942,144 OM. Run the math; it’s a lot. For providing high-quality and valid sybil reports, 29 members of the community have been allocated 106,648 OM. We thank them for their work. A good ecosystem is one guided by an informed and active community. Voting in the governance proposal will end in roughly 48 hrs. I hope as many of you vote as possible. In our investigations, we set out to ensure those who’ve contributed to #MANTRA’s growth to date and supported our work in bringing the world’s financial ecosystem onchain - are adequately and honestly rewarded. The Gendrop alloction will remain a 10% unlock if finalized via the onchain governance proposal. To be crystal clear, this will be 1,987,555.64 OM, which is 10% of the remaining Gendrop OM, which wasn't part of the sybil slaying campaign. In order to support and protect our community from targeted actions, we will not be announcing a specific time or date. The Gendrop will just be released, and we will inform everyone officially via our social channels. Expect this in the near future, and stay tuned.
