Kosovo’s NATO membership isn’t just a strategic goal—it’s a peace imperative. In our meeting with @SecGenNATO Mark Rutte, I reaffirmed our commitment to the world’s strongest security alliance. I sincerely thank Secretary Rutte for reassuring the people of Kosovo of NATO’s continued dedication to peace, stability, and security in our country and the region. Kosovo has already met NATO’s 2% GDP defense spending target, and we are set to double our investment, while further strengthening our security force that aligns with NATO standards. The Alliance that protected our people in 1999 is now the partner we work with hand-in-hand to safeguard long-term peace and security.
