First of all, Bitcoin has timelocks. Second, you don't need yield on an asset that reprices the world lower over time. ETH has so called 'yield', and it's purchasing power is utterly cooked vs BTC. Here is 3% native yield, it partly offsets the 75% decline in the token price.
