According to Foresight News, trading giant Jump has reached a settlement with Liam Heeger, former chief engineer of FireDancer. Foresight News previously reported that according to The Block, Jump has filed a lawsuit against its former software engineer Liam Heeger, accusing him of operating a "competitive business" and violating non competition obligations. Heeger is the co leader of Jump's main blockchain project, FireDancer. The document shows that Heeger has launched a new blockchain development enterprise that competes directly with Jump. Heeger had already secured $3 million in financing at a valuation of $50 million within a month of resigning, which directly violated his non compete obligation in the contract. Before Jump filed a lawsuit against Heeger, Heeger co founded Unto Labs with the aim of building a new Layer 1 blockchain.
