Cyvers CEO: If an AI model is used, there is still a chance to track and freeze some of Bybit's stolen funds

Odaily Daily News: Hackers have washed away all 499000 ETH (approximately 1.39 billion US dollars) stolen from Bybit within 10 days. Bybit CEO Ben Zhou has revealed that recent hacker attacks have resulted in the theft of 1.4 billion US dollars (approximately 500000 ETH), of which 77% can still be traced, 20% cannot be traced, and 3% have been frozen. Deddy Lavid, co-founder and CEO of blockchain security company Cyvers, stated that some of Bybit's stolen funds can still be recovered. He explained, "Although money laundering through mixers and cross chain exchanges makes fund recovery complex, cybersecurity companies that utilize on chain intelligence, AI driven models, and collaborate with exchanges and regulatory agencies still have the opportunity to track and freeze assets
