Two under the radar developments: (1) Coinbase Derivatives self-certified SOL futures last week, for initial trading date of today. (2) Coinbase Derivatives is recently a member of the Intermarket Surveillance Group (ISG). An ISG member is party to the group's surveillance sharing agreement that has been deemed by this SEC to be a comprehensive SSA for purposes of 19b-4 ETF rule proposals. So we have SOL futures on a DCM with a CSSA. Only open question for purposes of a SOL ETP is whether the SEC continues the charade of minimum correlation over time. Based on comments by Uyeda and Pierce on prior spot ETPs, I expect them to substantially curtail that requirement, if not completely eliminate it. We'll know by October the latest.
