Imagine claiming you “win” when you’ve got a fraction of the TVL, and most of the TVL and volume is memecoins slaughtering retail. The point of the L2 thesis is that anyone can launch a trust guaranteed purpose built chain for their use case whether you like it or not. Not that every L2 will gorge itself on low quality NFTs and shitcoin flipping. But good maybe we shake out some of the people who don’t care about decentralization or removing middle men, they can chase memes get rinsed and we can get back to building without them complaining all the time 🤷‍♂️
