The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission issues the first batch of cryptocurrency licenses for 2025

On January 29th, according to Cointelegraph, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission issued operating licenses to two Hong Kong based cryptocurrency trading platforms, PantherTrade and YAX, on January 27th. According to public records kept by the Hong Kong government, both entities are registered under the Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Ordinance (AMLO).
