Vigorus (VIS) is the utility token of Pegaxy (PGX), an NFT-based play-to-earn horse racing game with players competing for the top 3 positions in a field of 12 racers. Races in Pegaxy are influenced by randomized variables like wind, water, fire, speed, and others. Players can improve their chances of winning races by upgrading their NFT horses. The eponymous Pega are a set of 5,000 NFTs that were released in October 2021 during the PGX IDO. These 5,000 “Founding Pega” preceded the Pega minted through the in-game breeding model. Players can race their Pega in PvP mode to earn VIS, sell or rent them out on the marketplace, and compete in the game’s global competition called “The Grand Dash.” In the long run, Pegaxy aims to become the home of horse racing in the Metaverse by means of providing players with an ecosystem to play, socialize and work. The game’s Beta release on desktop took place in December 2021, with the mobile version yet to come. In 2022, Pegaxy plans to start selling Pega food, release the first stadiums for sale, and introduce a staking mechanism.
