United States Antimony Corporation, or USAC, was founded in January 1970 in Montana, dedicated to mining and producing antimony products. In 1983, it ceased its antimony mining operations but continued to produce antimony products from domestic and foreign raw material sources. In March 1998, the company established United States Antimony SA de CV, or USAMSA, to mine and smelt antimony in Mexico. Bear River Zeolite Company was founded in 2000, engaged in mining and producing zeolite in the southeast region of Idaho. On August 19, 2005, United States Antimony established Antimonio de Mexico, S. A. de C. V., to explore and develop antimony and silver mines in Mexico, which is now integrated into USAMSA. The company's main business is the production and sale of antimony, silver, gold, and zeolite products.
