Obyte (Byte Snowball) is a decentralized system that uses DAG technology to store and transmit value. It allows Tamper resistance storage of arbitrary data, including transferable value data, such as currency, property rights, debt, shares, etc. The more crowded the transaction, the faster the transaction. These storage units are linked to each other, and each storage unit includes hash values of one or more earlier storage units, which are used to verify the earlier units and establish their Partially ordered set. DAG (Directional Non Cycle graph) is formed between link units. A single central entity that does not manage or coordinate the entry of new units into the database, allowing everyone to add new units as long as the fee they sign and pay is equal to the size of the added data bytes. Other later users confirm early units and charge fees based on the hash values within their own units. As new units are added, each early unit, including its hash value, directly or indirectly receives more and more confirmation from later units.Because the byte snowball uses the DAG (Directed Acyclic Gragh) directed acyclic graph, which is a data structure, and has no concept of blockchain, the consensus mechanism does not need POW and POS, but also achieves 100% reliability. Obyte has a very useful wallet, which is the first to adopt an AppleStore like model in the encrypted world. Free developers can freely develop various applications on the Obyte platform, including insider trading, private chats like Telegram, mutual insurance, betting, and lottery. In this system, there is also a highly private digital currency - the Black Ball, which for the first time cannot trace transaction information in the general ledger.
